Holiday Jewelry for Every Style Personality With True Bijoux

Holiday Jewelry for Every Style Personality With True Bijoux

You know those women who always look so put together no matter the occasion? They’re not necessarily wearing the latest trends, but they’re definitely stylish and walk into any room with confidence.

How do they do it?

From experience as a stylist, my belief is that these ladies all have one thing in common: They are intimate and secure in their choice of personal style. Whether it be feminine, androgynous, or vintage and quirky – they know what they like and seek only to satisfy their own style needs.

In one of my recent vlogs about how to build a closet you love , the first step I share is to figure out your personal style. Knowing what you like and why translates to a closet full of thoughtful choices that please nobody but you. And that’s how it should be, no?

During the holidays, I get asked a lot about gift giving advice, and I love the opportunity to suss out the personal style and tastes of others. So I teamed up with local family-owned jeweler, True Bijoux  , to let you in on some gift ideas (for yourself too!) organized by style personality. Whether it’s for yourself or someone else, understanding personal style acts like a roadmap to giving a more thoughtful gift that will be cherished for years to come.

When I walked into True Bijoux, I was really excited to find such a varying range of jewelry – seriously, there really is something for everyone here. My top picks are below.

Glam & Feminine

Feminine, sparkly pieces are a favourite through the holiday season but it never hurts to add sparkle all year round. Ladies who love glam understand that. Who wouldn’t want the illusion of crystallized petals cascading from their lobes on more than one occasion?

The beauty of each of these pieces is that they are the singular item you need to dress up a look. Wearing a cozy knit sweater and pencil skirt? Swap out studs for these sparkly danglers at $165 and you’ve instantly elevated your look. Not only that, but earrings like these and punchy statement rings like the one above ($195) become heirloom pieces that you can pass down.

If your ears aren’t pierced, dress up your arm party with an embellished leather cuff ($195), an eye catching Belle Etoile duo bangle ($685), or gold and diamond glimmering bangle ($1525).

Minimalist

For those who know me, you know minimalism is my jam. Minimalist pieces carry unique elements that are impactful, and are worn as daily jewelry. (But their versatility allows for eveningwear too)

Take these 14K white gold Gabriel & Co bangles (without diamonds, $799, with $1,449) – great for stacking, on their own, or paired with your signature timepiece. The Thomas Sabo triangle necklace would look great layered with a choker, and for $174, it’s a winner.

If you’re looking for wow factor for your minimalist, I would look no further than these Gabriel & Co rose gold earrings ($999) and yellow gold Y knot necklace ($825).

For something more playful, this lariat ($195) and Petit Bijoux studs ($79) are sure to please for everyday wear.

Finally, my personal faves, these gold twist studs ($295) strike the right balance between unique and chic. Santa, are you paying attention?

Rock Chic

Women who carry off an edgy, rocker vibe are fierce and fearless, and I love them. In fact, I would love to incorporate some of their awesomeness into my own lifestyle, and personal style. Bold accessories satisfy this style personality, and I loved that I was able to find such a range at True Bijoux.

To start, as intimidating as these statement earrings ($495) may seem, they are in fact very versatile. Wear them with denim and a killer bootie, or beautiful evening gown. Equally enticing is this Karine Sultan bib necklace ($140) – a staple for any impactful look.

Texture is a great way to add edge and that comes easily with this Shaun Leane Serpents Trace bracelet ($1,865) – stacked or solo, this is a forever item. Wear it with this Mother of Pearl statement ring ($475). Finally, the Thomas Sabo elephant pendant even made my classic minimalist heart flutter – find it for $1,059.

Classic

A huge fan of classic pieces, I think these are the epitome of heirloom, emotional gifts. Although all jewelry comes with deep emotion, classics are worn daily, nightly, and travel with a woman through her life’s journey.

Amongst all the different jewelry styles I found at True Bijoux, I was happy to find a solid selection of classic pieces for the Audrey Hepburn in your life.

To start, this gold twisted necklace, an estate piece, can be worn long or short, and is practically a love affair in itself. Find it for $2,650. Paired with gold ball studs ($395), you will never make a style misstep.

Finally, for an extra-special touch, these silver and rose gold Tacori promise bangles come with a functional key that lock your bangle and your love. The key can then be worn as a pendant on a necklace. Call me a hopeless romantic, but this traditional piece has my heart, and it’s currently on sale for $1,482

No matter the style personality or price point you’re looking for, after spending a morning at True Bijoux, I can confidently say that you will find that special piece for a loved one this holiday season.

Jewelry is special, highly subjective, and very emotional. When done right, it can be a mindful gift that lasts forever as it will get passed down through generations.

Another little bonus? When you spend $125 or more, you receive a free gift – a Pearl and Zirconia pendant necklace. It’s the details like this that make True Bijoux a special place to shop. Find them at 206 Sparks street, on Facebook and Insta.

A huge thank you to True Bijoux for partnering with me on this post. Local businesses are a great place to turn to for sound, friendly advice and those one of a kind purchases you can’t find elsewhere.

As always, thanks for reading, xx
