Byward Social: Aids Awareness Fundraiser With Canfar

I’m super excited to be MC for a great cause next week!

I’ll be at schad boutique on May 1 for the Byward Social, a fundraising event hosted by CANFAR, the Canadian Foundation for Aids Research. This is my first dive into more philanthropic work, and I am very happy that it’s with a great organization like CANFAR.

Tuesday’s event will be a great networking opportunity and also an opportunity to learn more about philanthropy in Ottawa. Here’s what’s good:

Tickets are $65 and proceeds go towards AIDS research funding and awareness. Purchase your tickets HERE, and find out more about the event on Facebook HERE. I can’t wait to see you on Tuesday May 1!

In the meantime, peruse these awesome looks that I put together from schad. I didn’t go home with any of them, but each outfit is made up of items that I could see lasting in a stylista’s closet for years to come. Some items need attitude to pull off (hello metallic moto!) and others are perfect for those who like understated elegance (wink wink beige Smythe blazer).

Big thanks to schad boutique for letting me get dressed up, Olivia at Rinaldo’s 90 George the awesome blowout, Andaz Hotel for letting us shoot in your gorgeous space and Tara Shields for being my photographer!

Don’t forget to grab your tickets for a great cause, and see you May 1!
