Burgundy & Red

Schutz Shoes, Red pumps, red schutz, Bella Lux sweater, ZARA, ZARA scarf, burgundy scarf, Kate Spade glasses

After promising myself to add more colour to my wardrobe, here’s what I came up with. I bought a burgundy scarf. I know, GROUNDBREAKING. It’s not quite the addition of a cobalt blue overcoat just yet, but this burgundy scarf from ZARA at Bayshore Shopping Centre has made itself quite at home in my fall attire. Because everyone knows it’s more practical to wear heels on a regular basis as evidenced by my jumping up and down in them (really? No, but for the purposes of making this look more interesting and elevating an outfit to weekend-friendly heights, they do a great job), my trusty red Schutz (which you’ve already seen here) provide just enough of a tonal difference to work with burgundy.

IF I had more colour in my closet I would also indulge in the following pairings: turquoise/baby blue with navy, mint with forest green and pale butter yellow with mustard. I believe in the power of colour when it comes to picking up your mood or making a statement and this season is a good time to do it. What colour is making you happy this fall?
